Here are a few of the shops and other buildings on Crieff High Street, taken in October 2007.
There are a lot of traditional local shops, I've concentrated on these rather than the national "High Street" names, since those look fairly much the same wherever they are.
I added a few more in 2008. The High Street seems to be coping with the credit-crunch quite well so far. There are few new shops, including a Subway, a few have closed, Fish-in-Crieff have moved to larger premises, and Snip, Tack and Sew have a new sign. Planning permission has been given for a large new supermarket in Crieff, it will be interesting to see if that has any effect.
I updated again in January 2009. There have been a few changes, but there are still lots of good shops. I've moved pictures of some of the ones that closed to the end of the page.
The following shops are no longer open in January 2009, but this is what they used to look like:
If anyone wants me to remove a picture of their shop from this list, please email to sallyad@selfcateringcrieff.co.uk and I'll take it out straight away.
There is a good YouTube video showing the shops on the High Street (inside & out) at Crieff, shops
